Altogether these organisations represent more than 2 000 organisations in 9 provinces serving more than 6 million people of all ages who are vulnerable and in need. Their beneficiaries are families, women, children, people with disabilities, substance abusers, offenders, the homeless, victims of abuse, older persons and the poor. In other words, the whole spectrum of South Africans in need of social services, empowerment and care are served. NACOSS is committed to ensuring effective social services for all and advocates for this.
